The licensed surgical assistants (LSAs) at Avant First Assistants are among the most qualified and experienced in the region. We are trained in the latest advances in surgical techniques, including minimally invasive neurosurgery and robotic-assisted procedures.

Each of our LSAs is specially trained to assist in three or more medical specialties, and it has been said that our wound closure skills are on par with those of the very best plastic surgeons. Our LSAs are physicians in other countries who practice as licensed surgical assistants here in the United States.
